Mission and Statement

The Hispanic Physicians Independent Physician Association (HPIPA) has been in business since 1988 and was formed as a Staff Model IPA by Dr. Daniel Dunkelman. As the premier IPA, it is well-known for its quality, cost-effective health care services for the Hispanic Community through its health care clinics as well as through the Hispanic Physician IPA. Hispanic Physicians’ geographic area covers Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Kern Counties. It has member outreach programs to communicate with the entire population and to also educate them on health-related issues that affects the community. Since the inception of the IPA, all our clinics and the IPA have been contracted with several Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs) and many other Private Health Insurance Companies in all the four counties. Our HMO Networks in all four counties are fully staffed with required specialists’ panel to complement our Primary Care Physician network.
